SWITCH CONTROLLER
THE SWITCH CONTROLLER, the most advanced
transbrake switch controller to date. Applying continuous unknown pressure on
your transbrake button is a major cause of inconsistent reaction times. THE SWITCH CONTROLLER eliminates this
problem. THE
SWITCH CONTROLLER is a smart switch control that converts your standard push button
switch into a multi-functional switch. Simply pushing and releasing sets and
activates your transbrake!!!
The first push and release of the transbrake button sets your transbrake.
The second push and release starts the count down timer in your delay box to
launch the race car.
If needed, a third push and release activates the OUT 2 terminal that is
connected to your bump up/down terminal of the delay box. (You can push and
release the bump up or bump down as many times as necessary before the
transbrake releases. YOU MUST SELECT EITHER BUMP UP OR BUMP DOWN, BUT NOT
BOTH ON THE SAME BUTTON.)
The illuminated OUT 1 indicator lamp signifies the transbrake is engaged.
The illuminated OUT 2 indicator lamp signifies the bump up or bump down is activated.
It is not desirable to use a micro switch with THE SWITCH CONTROLLER because of the slight
amount of pressure needed to activate them. It is preferable to use a push
button that you can feel under a gloved hand. This prevents involuntarily
activating your transbrake.
